2010 =twenty- ten ? or Two thousand and Ten ??

昨晚看了篇报道，虽然再过几个小时，我们就要迎接2010年了。。但是令人意外的是·， 英文2010到底该年twenty-ten 还是two thousand ten 。。这问题还在探讨-ing 。。。

中文2010就是2010 ，马来文2010 =tahun dua ribu sepuluh，韩语也是2010 就2010 。。就是英文，到底该念year twenty ten 还是 year two thousands ten。以往1810 =eighteen-ten ，1920 =nineteen twenty，但2000 年开始 2001 =two thousands one ，2009=two thousands nine 。。但2010年开始，是2000 年后的第一个十位数的一年。。也为人类带来了“困扰”哈哈。。这也成为了网上论坛的热门话题之一。。很多人比较喜欢twenty-ten ，因为比较短也符合以往1810 =eighteen-ten 的传统。。

不过，我个人就比较喜欢把它念成two thousands ten。。感觉比较好听 。。 不管是year twenty-ten or year two thousands ten，都希望2010年，大家能顺顺利利，开开心心，健健康康。。。HAPPY NEW YEAR ～

2009年的尾声～

迎接2009 年1月·1号的烟花，还很清晰的在脑海里旋绕。。

转眼间，2009年就剩下那么短短的几天了。。回头看看这一年的点点滴滴 ，这一路的酸甜苦辣。。

 

2009年，对我而言也算是一个丰收年吧。。

学会了珍惜生命,珍惜身边的一切 

也许真的了解了所谓的人生无常吧！开始渐渐减少了抱怨。。开始了学会珍惜，惜福。。

思维与思想上成长了  

虽然之前在S公司，吃了不少苦头，过着忙盲茫的日子。。面对不少的压力。但是我的确学了不少。。处事方面也比较成熟了，人也不再那么的轻浮了。。也学会了一些人际关系的小学问。。谢谢～

开始了我追求硕士的第一步

2009年9月9号。。我带着行李飞往韩国，追求我那所谓的理想。。拥有硕士一向来都是我的理想。。只是重来没想过会成为留学生的一分子。谢谢爸妈的支持和纵容。。

认识了不同的新朋友。。

因为工作，于留学的关系，今年见识了很多新朋友。看了不同的文化。。也开始学韩语了。。呵呵

再见2009 年。。～

A day Trip to Gangwo Do(강원도)

Had a day trip to Gangwodo which located at the northeast of Seoul on 19th December .

It was a trip to Korea Drama location which was organized by our Dongseo University(동서대학교) International Exchange Centre .

Yeah 19th December finally arrived ,We gather at the international exchange centre at 6.40 am with half eye open ….

We leaving DSU @ 7.15am …On the way ,we was supplied with a big bag of foods i.e papero ,sweet ,orange juices ,bread and we have kim bap (sushi role) thx to the international exchange center…we really do not have any chance to feel hungry …

After the 5 hour long journey …we finally reached Nami island where Winter Sonata was filmed at 12.30 noon..The entrance fee to the Nami island is 8000 won which include entrance ticket (5000 won ) and round trip ferry ticket(3000won) while there is 50 % discount ticket for senior citizens and student who below 18 years old .Then they also giving 10 % discount for group ticket (20 pax) .

We then leaving Namira Republic at 4pm and heading to our next drama location -Petite Village where Beethoven virus was filmed ...The Entry fee for the petite France will be 8000 won as well.

I like this Petite France Village more than Nami Island.one unique thing about the village is they deco the village with little prince ..

we were there for about 1 hour …the individual “house” have their own theme such as cock house the house which full with cock deco , France house is the house that deco based on 70-an French design

Before heading back to Busan ,We had Dakgalbi-The chicken dish is made by pan-frying seasoned boneless chicken, sweet potato, cabbage, vegetables, and rice cakes in hot pepper sauce. It’s a must try when you are going to Nami Island.

We finally reached busan at about 11.45 pm ..It was a long long journey and tiring trip ,but we did have a great time over there . thanks to the Dongseo University ‘s international exchange centre ‘s great efforts to organize such a good trip for us …

P/S :think Nami island will be great with snow there …but too bad ..we just able to enjoyed the cold -12 C temperature .but no the snow …

“冷冷冷，冷冷冷 还是cold cold cold 又或者是“chuwa chuwa（韩语的冷)“ 就是今天听到指数最高的一句。。

今天的釜山只有 -2度C 到 3度 的温度。。应该是说冷度吧！

冷冷的天气，如果有杯热热cappocino ，有本好书 加上美妙的音乐。。哪有都好啊。。
哈哈，不过这只是小妹我的奢望。。至少今天是不可能发生的
还是好好的继续写paper吧。。。加油
明天过后，就可以暂时好好的玩一玩了。。。

一片空白。。

从早对着电脑银幕上的ms document，资料找了又找，看了又看，但却打不出字来。。完完全全不知道要如何下手。。。

脑袋一片空白的我。。

面对着堆积如山的课业和韩语期末考。。。还有那有限的时间。。

天啊！有谁能告诉我，我到底该怎么办呢？

Obstacles of life…..

We often get upset or temp to complain a lots whenever we face some difficulties in our life…

some might even put the blame to the god ,why the god treat them unfair ? why they can’t have a smooth sailing life ? why there are so so many obstacles in their life ? perhaps i am part of them too

found an good article online lately ….talking about the obstacles of life…

personally, I think it’s a good one to share …

“While we all pray for each other that one should not come across any obstacle in life, I have a different view after read the following.
We must come across obstacles and need to pray for each other to overcome obstacles (with some pain) and progress.
One night recently my daughter, Elizabeth, was showing me an aquarium full of tadpoles. She had purchased a whole bag full of them for her children to watch grow from tadpoles into frogs. It was fun watching all of those little wiggly creatures swimming around in the aquarium! It brought back many fond memories of my own childhood, playing with "critters" down at my grandparent's house.
I noticed that there was a big rock in the aquarium. When I asked her why she put a rock right in the middle of the tadpoles' environment, Elizabeth told me an interesting story. I can hardly believe that I have lived almost seventy years without having heard it. It is so good and "life-essence saturated."
Elizabeth said that she was instructed by the Pet Store Salesman to be sure to "put a big rock right in the middle of the aquarium." He
explained that "the tadpoles must have this obstacle to give them the incentive to climb up and thus split their little wiggly tails so that
their legs can begin to develop. If they have no rock or obstacle to climb up on, they will never turn into frogs. They cannot learn how to hop by just swimming around in water. They must have something causing resistance to give them the incentive to leap forward.
The man went on to tell her that last year a school teacher came back to the store and complained because none of her tadpoles had ever turned into frogs. She had put all of them in an aquarium and let them swim around but they never became frogs. He asked her if she had put a big obstacle, like a rock, in the middle of the aquarium. She said that she had not. She did not know that a tadpole will remain a tadpole unless it faces some obstacle or barrier that forces it to grow. Neither did I, but it makes perfect sense.
So, my daughter was excited to show me all of the tadpoles swimming around the rock. In time, they will begin to try to climb up it and eventually they will make the transformation into a more fully mature creature.
Well, I was amazed and delighted to hear that story. It helped me better to see, once again, why life presents obstacles and barriers in
front of us. The barriers are not there to hinder us, but they are there to cause us to grow. It is not so much what the object is in
front of each one of us that matters as much as it is our attitude towards it. If we realize that the obstacle we are facing is really a
gift that has come our way to help us grow and mature, we will be much more likely to face it in a positive manner.
Since I watched those tadpoles the other night and saw the big rock in their aquarium, I have begun to see the obstacles I face in a
different way. Instead of being rocks in my path, those obstacles have become stepping stones to help me leap forward in whatever
situation I find myself...
I know that those little tadpoles have no idea what is going on. They just are not that smart. The truth of the matter is, neither are we?
Most of us have no idea what all is going on in our lives either. We don't understand that the barriers and obstacles, challenges, difficulties and hard times that come our way each day are actually there for a purpose. There is no way we will have the incentive to
grow, or to become better, or to strive harder, if everything in life is just a simple situation. I know the harder I work at anything, the more profitable it is for me, not only financially, but personally, in my own heart and character as well.
So, the next time you see a frog hopping around, smile at him and thank him for the lesson, remembering the struggle he has gone through to get where he is. Perhaps out in the wild somewhere, he faced a difficult rock or barrier in his life, but rather than swimming away from it, he just crawled up on it and began to develop his personal strength until he eventually matured to become the frog that you see hopping around.
Moral of the Story:“Remember... Obstacles are there to help you... “

everything happen with a reason , so don’t get upset or Pease off whenever you encouter any obstacle in your life…just try your very best to overcome it , as these obstacles help to make you better person~

The First Snow @ Busan ….

As usual I was waken up by those noises…..<Arghhhhhhhhhh…so damn tired …as i only went to bed @ 3.am nearly 4 am,Thank to those homework > so to “wake me up”, i on my notebook to blast some songs while preparing myself ….

Then suddenly friend of mine msn me to tell that it was snowing last nite …so there are still snows everywhere…

Woo …Snows ..Snows Snows…The very very first Snow @ Busan .Although the snow is not much ,but We were quite surprise and excited to see snow today as it is just the 3rd day of winter and unlike Seoul or the northern region of Korea ,it’s rarely snow here at Busan.

It was my very first time to see snow as well ..so i for sure won’t miss out the golden opportunity to take some photos to keep it as memories

P/S : the snow is just look like our Malaysia Ais Batu Campur (ABC) …hehe maybe next time i should add some milk and syrup on the top of those “ice”

Happy Pepero Day (빼빼로 데이)

11th November is known as Pepero Day in South Korea..Papero day is named after the Korea 's famous stick snack Pepero (similiar to Rocky at Malaysia ) . Maybe you will wondering why it's celebrate at Nov ,11 ?The date Nov 11 was chosen because when written as "11/11" it resembles four sticks of Pepero



Papero day is similar to Valentine day .People will exchanging and eating of these Pepero sticks with family, boyfriends, girlfriends, and friends. Beside Pepero ,some other candies, and romantic gifts will be exchanged as well.



Ermmmm....how the Papero day start ??



According to Wikepedia , Korean start the celebrating the Papero day annually since year 2004 .It begun when students at a girls' middle school in Busan, where they exchanged Pepero sticks as gifts to wish one another to grow "as tall and slender as a Pepero.

Pepero do create some business opportunity as well. A lot of manufacture will create more flavours ,or special limitation pepero .
