Sakura Weekend @ Yeonji Park,Gimhae

At last here come the spring…..

Spring js just about flowers …..hehe 

although i m very busy with the thesis but i can i miss out my last spring in Korea hehe

 

went to Gimhae yeojin park with Malaysia internship students hehe 

it’s quite fun to hang out with those people ..hehe

we departed from Dormitory at 2pm

waited for 2100 bus for about half an hour then only notice the bus only operated at night ….stupid me didn’t check the bus schedume properly ..so we follow the advise by the ajumma ,take bus to gimpo station then change to 127 bus to the yeojin park…it took us about 1 hour quite far though

 

finally reach the park after 1 hour …take photo at the main gate again i was there too last spring 2010.

we took a lot of photos that day …

The reason why i like yeonji park is their tulips ….hehe aren’t they lovely ???

Went for “barley” rice for dinner before went back to DSU ^^

wanted to change a new camera since years ago ..but keep on “on hold” due to lot of reasons …Finally turned my WISH LIST to the Reality …hehe

SSAT: Samsung Aptitude Test

I am pretty exhausted …have been continuously lack of sleep for days …just came back to my Lovely room  from Seoul not longer… was away since 4.15am morning ….

however decided to post this … just to “remember” how impress I was with Samsung Aptitude test …What the hell is this SSAT ??? for those who is wondering ..SSAT test is actually a test organize by Samsung group as part of the recruitment progress

The test started from 8.30 am till 12 noon including the break 20 min break in between

it basically divide to 2 part:

part 1 :quantitative  and logic test ..there is total 50 question

while part 2 basically just a personality test with total 125 questions

basically in part 2 ,you will be given 4 criteria in every question i.e

a)creative

b)good in math

c)Proud with your organization

d) Innovative

so from all these options you have to choose which is the most similar to you and which is the most less similar to you .

 

How to apply ?

you may check http://dearsamsung.co.kr/ for more info…there is always a lot of opening there ..but if not mistaken they only open once a year for foreigner who study in korea.. 

What you need to do ?

fill in the application form , prepare your CV …you are require to write 800 words essay about yourself and why samsung should hire u ?  write about your strength and weakness 400 words each  and lastly your 10 years plan for samsung ..

after that wait for their good news to call you for the SSAT …haha

P/S the test was cool … something like our SPM or STPM test in Malaysia .none of the company in Malaysia able to have this kind of grand recruitment test …You even able to get the SSAT pastyear question in Bookstore but too bad it is all in Korean

研究室的“脑”忽然在星期五晚失灵了～

可能是向我抗议，星期五晚不想工作～

还是老天知道我一直都想用window 7 ，可是就一直懒得安装。。

算了，竟然window corrupted 那么我就趁机安装window 7 吧～

忙了一天终于把脑安装好了 ，重新出发～

The very 1st “Working day” of year 2011

Well I suppose to wake up earlier and come to lab earlier today ...but too bad due to the insomnia last night again i was late to the lab
lot of things to do prior my holiday home this end of Jan …
1.Pending tasks
continuous with the research part which remain untouched for weeks due to my terrible “ill”
2.Prepare for my Test of Proficiency in Korean - TOPIK(한국어능력시험
the test is on 23rd Jan morning so need to study hard for it
3.Thesis
well here come the time to think for thesis ,what to include what to do what is the plan
4.Shopping
need to get some gifts for my family and some friends before “balik kampung “

really have to work harder this year and of course play harder too ..hehe
enjoy my last few months in Korea …

再见了2010 ，

谢谢你你给了许多回忆。。也辛苦了 呵呵

2010 年，认识了人多新朋友，也学习很多新道理，也领悟了很多新东西～

心境也改变了 ，不知道这些改变是好是坏，但也算是一种成长吧～

2010 年我也参加了一些以前没有参加的活动～认识了很多热爱文化的朋友 ，他们让我更加“爱国了” 也开始与马来西亚为荣～

2010年内，谢谢陪我一路走来的朋友～身在国外的我，尤其是在语言障碍的我深深体会了“在家靠父母，在外靠朋友”这句话。。。很幸运也很感谢一班经常帮助我的朋友尤其是研究室的韩国朋友 。。帮我翻译，陪我买东西，生病时只要一通电话就陪我看医生。。。真是感谢，感谢～

 

2011 年也没有什么特别愿望，特别计划。。只希望身体健健康康～好好的准备毕业论文～

Well it going to be a busy busy November for me …

Never ending presentations and assignments  ~

my CCAP classes …. My BFIA cultural class …

prepare power point slide will just kill all my times

Autumn Hiking ??   wish to enjoy the autumn leaf but not sure i have time for it or not >.<

ICCIT conference @ this end of November…..

However i did start my 1st day of November with some little gifts..hehe 

1st gift : Loreal mascara from my Mentor  ,Bo kyung  (김보경)

 

It come with 2 brushes ,one is for the base and another one is for the top coat .. which i am not sure how to use ..hehe

2nd gift :one pencil from Taiwan from my BFIA cultural class assistance ,shen nalai .

This is actually a souvenir from her Taiwan Trip

3nd gift : a box of cookies from one of the “student” of  my BFIA culture class 

it ‘s the handmade cookie from Basquia Bakery of Hotel nongshim .

离家4206公里之第365天

不知不觉我在这土地生活了第365天～ 这也意味着明年的今日我就自由了

这过去的一年

虽然过得不是很容易，但我的确体验了很多

认识很多各国家的朋友，认识别人的文化，处事态度 ，了解别人的风俗

也体验了春夏秋冬。。。

me VS韩语！

至于韩语嘛 ～也开始从当初刚来的“文盲”阶段，慢慢升级到“哑巴”阶段。。就是听的明白，还是说的不好。。。也从当初一听到，或以看到韩语就头痛的阶段慢慢开始接受 到爱上了韩语的美

从开始看到韩语老师就想逃跑，现在也渐渐的可以以几句简单的韩语与老师交流了。。

meVS 韩国人！

刚来到韩国时，韩国人给我第一印象老是酷酷的 。不过旧了发现他们有时也太过度热情的·。。呵呵 我很荣幸在这里有几位要好的韩国“labmate” 。。他们不止是我的朋友也是我的翻译员和韩语老师 。。呵呵

不管是生活上还是韩语课业上，他们都帮了我很多很多。。

 

至于我的另一个３６５天的日子呢。。。除了好好的学习，好好的研究研究 准备论文，我也想把韩语学好！

当然也不忘了好好游玩～哈哈

小小的插曲之“how to say GoodNight In Malay"

 

在“新”房间住了，第2个星期  。。正如往常一样睡前我和室友都会说声晚安～

Roommate：”how  do you all say Goodnight in Malay??? “

me ：“ermmm。。。。。” （韩语，英文，中文 的“晚安” 都出现在我脑海里 就唯有马来语晚安缺席）

me ：“just a minute, i just forget how we say malay”

一分钟后，谢天谢地“selamat malam ” 这字终于出现在我脑海里。。

Fish and Fishes @ Busan Aquarium

Visited Busan Aquarium  with my BFIA (Busan Foundation For International Activities)  Mentor ,Kim Bo Kyung last Saturday . Busan Aquarium is one of the  Korea’s top aquariums ,it attached with a Korea nations’s longest underwater tunnel.

 

we departure at BFIA city hall office at 2 pm .Stop at Nurimaru APEC House before heading to the Busan Aquarium .

The name Nurimaru APEC House is come from the korean words nuri(“world”) and maru (“summit”), and “APEC House,” which refers to an APEC conference hall. which  means “a house where the world summits gather together for an APEC meeting.”
